Emma Watson, Bieber boast 2011's 'Most Influential' hair

According to the Wall Street Journal, two young stars have the hottest haircuts of the current year: actress Emma Watson and singer Justin Bieber. The paper has dubbed their hairstyles the "Most dominant" of 2011.
“Hairstylists are being swamped with requests for fairy cuts and the Bieber swish,” the WSJ notes. (As you can see in the photo above, though, Bieber doesn't even have the "Bieber swish" anymore - he cut his hair in February.)
However, the paper continues, “The interest plays out online, where the best -rising searches for celebrity haircuts on Google are for Ms. Watson and Mr. Bieber.”
According to the Journal, Watson’s cropped cut is mainly notable, since for women, “short hair hasn’t been fashionable since the ’90s.” Currently, celebs like Michelle Williams, Halle Berry and Pink are also rocking the fairy.
The WSJ names other fashion places of interest from 2011, as well as the Royal Wedding (deemed the “Fashion Event of the Year”); Kanye West’s Paris Fashion Week debut (the “Biggest Runway Flop"); and Target’s in-demand Missoni teamwork.
Also popular current year? The Mid-Century style, as look on “Mad Men”; three-piece suits (a la Justin Timberlake); and the Alexander McQueen Met exhibit.
